schools stink & you're not in control

oh man, i missed tonight's hour of ANTM b/c of a work event where i had to be a panelist. BUT, i got home just in time to see who was eliminated! did i miss anything good & juicy? all i'll say is that nicole is the cutest of the three remaining girls, and i hope she wins. no lie--i was flying down Rt 29 just to get home in time to see the ending b/c i had forgotten to tape it. is that pathetic? admit it: you'd be grumpy, too, if something interfered with your wednesday night tv. but every traffic light i hit along the way was green!

so tonight's work event was held at a local high school. now, this might sound crazy, but have you ever noticed that all school cafeterias smell the same? seriously! what is that smell anyway? it's like a lingering combination smell of tater-tots, sloppy joes, and the cleaning solutions used by school janitors. trust me. see if it's not true the next time election day rolls around. (that's assuming your local polls are set up at your neighborhood school, like mine are).

now i'll leave you with this. at first i was dubious when shawn pointed this out to me but then i tried it and, well... just do the following:
1) sit down in a chair.
2) move your right foot in clockwise circles
3) now without looking at your foot, use the index finger of your right hand to draw the number "6" in the air.

did your foot change direction? don't lie! it did! and there's nothing you can do about it. you are not in control of your own body.
