twice as bossy...

imagine for a moment that your boss at work has a twin. woud you find it weird? funny? confusing? or maybe a combination of all of the above? well i don't think i've ever told you that my boss has a twin--an identical one, no less!

when i started there in january, she warned me that her twin sister had recently moved here from new hampshire. she said not to be offended if i happened to see her around town and greeted/waved at her, and she acted like she didn't know me, as that meant i was seeing her twin. then, back on april fool's day, our whole office was...well...fooled. the boss was out attending meetings that day, but her sister decided to come in and play a practical joke by telling everyone they were free to leave and go home. a few people actually fell for it. hahaha... crazy!

as with most identical twins, though, if you look carefully, you can tell them apart. nonetheless, they have the exact same laugh and it can be pretty funny when they appear together. i saw the two of them at the arthritis walk 5K, and then again today b/c this was our annual all-day staff meeting/retreat. my boss' twin (a physical therapist) came in and did some relaxation exercises with us, which were pretty darn cool. out of today's retreat, i got a new exercise ball, which i can now use in my living room or at yoga class. plus, she showed us a headache pressure point on the top surface of the lower arm near where the elbow bends when you fold your arms across your chest. that's always good to know! the next time i feel a headache coming on, i'll be sure to apply pressure to that trigger/pressure point to make it disappear.

okay. sorry but i must cut this short 'cuz i really, really, really, really have to pee (yet again). [as if anyone really wanted to know that].
