post-christmas coma
hey!
so i'm finally updating from colorado. been here since dec. 18th. the three-and-a-half hour flight out here was okay other than the fact that i was seated behind a person who kept farting the entire time. for real! i ended up crocheting on the plane rather than risking having my knitting needles confiscated.
anyway, the holidays have been totally fun. if i haven't mentioned this before, my immediate family is close-knit and fun. we're pretty laid-back, low-key people, but there's an abundance of humor and laughter and love to go around, so we have lots of good times together. yeah i know. you can't choose your family, so i think i should definitely consider myself a lucky girl!
since i'm still on vacation, i've only slipped in here to take a quick peek at what naughty or nice things everyone's been up to.
christmas was dreamy. and my parent's anniversary was the next day. so there was good food and drink to go around. right now i'm in a sluggish, hangovery, post-christmas coma and i probably won't emerge from that to do a full update until after new year's day.
i've been to park meadows mall down in littleton several times in the past week. it's a nice mall but now i'm avoiding it like the plague because as you probably know, there's a flu outbreak here in colorado. plus, all of the columbine high school kids are out on vacation and have hit the mall in full force. teenagers. i hope to get to over to boulder and perhaps head for the rockies before leaving here.
