oh by gosh, by golly; i'm getting crafty
it's time for mistletoe and holly, so i've been busy. i still have to go christmas shopping. don't you just hate it when you've got several "hard to buy for" people on your list?
but my good news: i finished my cards and got them all mailed out last week.
funny how everyone on diaryland seems to be knitting, and i'm no exception: my latest project is a scarf which will be a christmas gift for someone. thanks to itzie i now know i might be able to knit on the plane this week. the TSA website says that knitting needles are allowed, but to ensure they won't still be seen as a possible weapon and confiscated, it's best to have *bamboo* needles. but where the heck am i supposed to find bamboo needles?! no craft stores i've gone into seem to have them. i guess if all else fails, i can finish crocheting a baby sweater for a friend.
i had more to write, but as i'm on someone else's computer i've gotta sign off. besides i'm a little tipsy and my fingers are cold so it's pointless to type more now.
