impressive, huh? i actually manage to do two entries in one day! and that after no updates in, like, 10 days. what can i say?
earlier i forgot to write that i finally went to see "love actually" this past weekend. it's a great holiday feel-good movie that captures the magic of falling in love with someone, and it's actually comprised of six interwoven vignettes. why do i find myself drawn to colin firth? well i still can't explain it any more than you can. oh! i must add that the kid who plays liam neeson's son is so adorable. if i were a 6th grader, i would have developed a crush on him without a doubt.
finally, i couldn't NOT mention this: i was a bit surprised and maybe a little sad to realize that joni mitchell's fabulous, high-reaching voice has turned deeper and huskier from years of smoking cigarettes. don't get me wrong--she's still superb. to hear what i mean, listen to "both sides now" (released in 2000)and "a case of you". yeah. her original voice is gone.
julie andrews lost her original singing voice too. but from surgery. and we already knew that.
ps: can anyone tell me why i've been sucked into watching "trista & ryan's wedding"?
