now really. are you surprised that the bennifer wedding has been postponed?

i've been using someone else's digital camera but i think i want my own. so far, i've got 15 pictures to upload to my fotolog. (i'm still waiting for the colorado ones). unfortunately it's slow-going, as there's a one post limit per day. sigh. i'm not sure which shots i like best: maybe one from when i went paddling? or possibly the ones taken near emp? the nighttime ones? the safeco marquee?
now don't laugh, but i think my fave is one i took of a drugstore sign. for reals! there was a rite aid that has this lit-up marquee sign. i can only guess that it used to be a movie theater building.
right now i'm awaiting the arrival of this totally rad ikea lamp i ordered for my apartment, called "vreten". it's a floor lamp with a long crinkled paper lampshade and i think it'll look great at my place. i also have a round paper lantern. but my biggest regret is not ordering these smaller square shaped lamps that look almost like ice cubes with a light shining inside of them. i saw them at the renton store but didn't order them. oh well--i'll drive up to dc sometime this fall to look around at their ikea.
i'm getting tired of my diary template. it's time to change the color and font. unfortunately, someone recommended a website called poodesigns, and i went there only to find their templates unavailable. hmm....what to do next?
