lists; new drinks to try
so i'm retyping this entry, as d-land is fickle and i lost and re-did two entries. grrrrr!
{note: i think tomorrow will be my last day online, possibly for a while, as updating safely while on vacation is uncertain. i really don't know and we'll see. will keep everyone posted..}
anyway, yes, i really did start to worry i had ADD (previous). so i got organized and wrote a packing list, which helped! (though i still did sit on my bed for over an hour, overwhelmed and surrounded by an open suitcase and piles of clothes).

on another front, here are two drinks i want to try (maybe while on vacation): 1) a white cosmo--made w/ white cranberry juice. it was apparently invented in order to satisfy guys who weren't interested in girly pink drinks. bring on the stoli! 2) a yuzu martini. ever heard of a yuzu? no? well neither had i, until i read about it in the washington post a few months ago. apparently a yuzu martini is made with yuzu-infused sake. i'm intrigued. don't know if they're anything to write home about though.
