no rose, too old

no rose, too old...

i watched the bachelor last night. disappointment. oh well. i just saw the exclusive aol morning-after video clip where tina revealed why she and andrew weren't the right match. it was stuff like how she had recently come out of a 7 yr. relationship, and her ex still has a big part of her heart, and how her time on the show turned out to be a time of growth and realization of what she wanted/didn't want. i liked her esp b/c she seemed to have a strong head on her shoulders.

ok now, i have confession to make: there's a justin timberlake song i really like. maybe it's no big deal...liking boy bands and all. except for one thing: i'm almost 29. so you see, if i went to a concert or something, i'd probably be the oldest person there and stick out like a sore thumb among a sea of girls about, say, 15 years younger than i am. (shit--that means they're, like, half my age!). oh man. all for britney's boy toy.

but get this: my sister (older than i am) told me she likes that same song. in fact, i recently learned that the surgical team usually listens to cd's in the OR while operating on patients. justin timberlake is in that mix! you have to wonder if these kids wake up after getting their tonsils out and have rock your body subliminally planted in their heads. LOL!

while i'm at it, you know what? i actually would consider seeing the backstreet boys in concert. why? because howie d. raises money and awareness on an issue that is very close to my heart. check out this link.

yesterday was shitty. more on that later....

off to listen to boy band music now!
