i am such a girl *sigh*...

today's "about me" fact: (i got this from another person's diary a while back):

Q: have you ever met any of your diaryland buddies and if not, would you ever consider meeting any of them in person? what are your thoughts on the issue?

A: no, i haven't met any of my diaryland buddies in the time that i've been a member. i'd keep an open mind as far as meeting my diaryland friends in person. i think it would depend on many things but if i went through w/ it, it might be a cool experience. i'd proceed, but w/ caution.

i can see one of two scenarios: it could be quite awkward b/c when you read someone's journal, you're presumably accessing their innermost thoughts. and that's a private space they may or may not actually share w/ their real life friends and family. it could be uncomfortable. but on the other hand, i can also see it potentially being a wonderful experience, sort of like getting together w/ a friend you haven't seen in ages (even if you've never met). that's b/c they know so much about you already, and have a unique glimpse into your life through your writing, and it can possibly make for a true and meaningful friendship off-line.

hey how do y'all like the girlie pink? it is valentine's day, after all. red was too hard on my eyes so i settled on pink.

it's funny b/c i've never been one of those girly girls who went for everything pink as a kid (room, sheets, clothes, etc.). in fact, i tend to wear darker colors a lot (although my room at my parents' house has pink walls...and my pajamas and slippers are pink though). anyway i almost always have on something black--esp. my shoes and pants. which is cool. but you know what? underneath it all, i really am *such* a girl! believe it or not, i love the color pink. maybe it's just a girl thing.....and it makes my diary such a "girl diary"..... sigh*

what do you think? hmmm....i just may have missed my boat in acting. you can be damn sure i'd audition for the role of cho chang in the next harry potter movie if i were about 15 years younger than i am (and if i lived in britain). they need someone "short" for the role and i'm 5'2 (although i'd probably want to lose 15 lbs. for the role since i'm currently 113lbs). i really hope that jk rowling develops her character further in the remaining harry potter books and movies. she intrigues me. i'm telling you, cho chang is going to be pretty hot!
