strangeness; book recommendations
2nd update today: how bizarre was michael jackson's interview? one must wonder: how manipulative was he being? how forthcoming and honest was he being? draw your own conclusions. it was all a bit disturbing and strange.
now on to something else:
JOANNE, if you're reading this, i want you to know that i read your entry today and understand exactly where you're coming from b/c i've been there myself. it hurts a lot. and the worst part of it is that those types of comments stem from ignorance. i have a lot more to say on the issue but will save for another time since it's getting late here and i've gotta get to bed and (surprise, surprise!) i'm feeling crappy again. what i wanted to leave you with are the following two book recommendations:
1)"coping w/ prednisone and other cortisone-related medicines"
2)"living w/ autoimmune diseases: what your doctor doesn't tell you"
unfortunately i don't know the authors of either. i saw both books a while back but never read them cover to cover...just skimmed. i'd like to get hold of them but have had a tough time finding them in the local library, barnes&noble, waldenbooks, and books-a-million. no place seems to have these two books...but having said that, maybe amazon or border has one or both books, although i haven't checked yet. i wish i knew the authors since it would make it that much easier to track these down. anyway, maybe reading these will help you. hang in there!
