oh my, this is so bad--check out this police clip (it actually was released by the police dept after considerable controversy)*. then, decide for yourself who you think was in the wrong. also, turn up your speakers and take note of the moment when the Blackeyed Peas music starts playing, or rather, when it becomes audible.
