cinco de mayo...

happy cinco de mayo! in just a little while i'm going to out with a couple of friends for a margarita the size of my head. how does that sound?

no time to update lately. (i'm still reading along, though). but there will be more updates forthcoming. it's just that lately it's hitting me hard that i'll be turning 30 this month, and, well...i don't really know what i'm trying to say, so i might as well not try right now. (maybe the margarita will help me write more lucidly here?) no. seriousy, i mean, i'm excited and hopeful and all that, but not without mixed emotions.

anyway...did anyone else watch that NBC miniseries 10.5 on sun. & mon.? you could totally tell it was hastily put together. how much more predictable could they get? and the special effects? eh. ok. you know what the special effects of the movie reminded me of? the charlton hesston "ten commandments" movie, where the red sea is parting. they probably decided to put this movie together after it was revealed by geologists last month that california is almost certainly in for "the big one" before labor day.

anyway, that's all for now. seeing as i'm hit with a bit of writer's block this spring, i'll leave you with that lovely and insightful movie critique. time for that gigantic margarita. care to join me?

happy cinco de mayo!
