been there, done that, to do
by now you've probably already seen this in other blogs. the states in red are where i've been. [note the big void in the middle section of the country]. that's because i have yet to do a cross country drive. if/when i do, my plan is to take a southern route one way, and a northern route coming back or vice versa.

i have yet to (and want to) see: alabama because that's where my mom went to college, new orleans (drinks and mardi gras beads, of course!), texas and the southwest (just because...plus i've always wanted to see the desert), and sin city (vegas baby)! that i want to visit hawaii and alaska goes w/o saying. hmm...have i left out anything worth seeing in the breadbasket region? please do tell me if you think there's something i absolutely MUST see in the heartland.
okay, speaking of "to do's", tomorrow promises to be jam-packed: 1. meeting w/ supervisor in morning, 2. my first client intake (!), 3. meeting at city social services dept., 4. another meeting.
so what am i doing right now? reviewing folders of client casenotes for background info. i sure don't wanna be caught flat-footed at tomorrow's intake. and of course, i'm reading more stuff on HIPPA. if you're in medicine or any sort of allied healthcare profession these days, it's *all about* HIPPA compliance. *sigh*
it really sucks--being so completely wiped out all the time. it's time for bed. goodnight.
