making over the world, one straight guy at a time...

can i say? i just love that show! it's so much fun to watch. if you've never watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, you're really missing out. the thing is, did you know that there are some people who don't like that show? apparently they think it perpetuates the gay male sterotype. oh well. does it? maybe it does. but still...

actually, i don't think my parents enjoy the show that much (but not for the above reason). i just don't think they're as into the show as i am. i made them watch it when i was visiting them last month, and they laughed some, but didn't seem to take to it as much as i (and so many people i know) have. that's okay. whatever floats your boat. i think they were more horrified when john v. was making that quiche for ayana and swept crumbs under the kitchen counter. remember that?

i need to figure out what to get my dad for his birthday. somehow i don't think he'd enjoy stuff like clinique for men, aveda for men, or body shop for men. too perfumey. i once bought a boyfriend (now ex-) a body shop for men product. but i think the said skin-care product sat tucked away and untouched in his bathroom cabinet. but it all works out. by now, you know how fanatical i am about aveda. if i don't have to share the wealth and aromatherapy with the opposite sex, all the better!

other news: i'm still having fun playing around with the colors and font on my new layout. so the appearance may change each time i update. that's not a bad thing, is it? what's cool is that as you drag the mouse over the buttons on the left, they change colors. try it! exciting, huh?

now, go meet the metrosexual.

goodnight!
