pussyfoot; hurricanes are sneaky
no, i'm not talking about isabel again. i think my past two consecutive drinks on the subject are enough. so this time, it's all about the "hurricane"--which originated on bourbon street in the big easy.
those things are scary-strong. a lot of people i know here had them tonight! those who like fruity drinks will no doubt enjoy the hurricane. but oh man! they're stealthy b/c they taste like fruit punch but totally creep up on you. by the time you finish it, you're likely to be trashed. no wonder people i know who go to conferences in new orleans invariably come back with stories of debauchery in the french quarter. crazy!
ooh! one more thing: i learned tonight that the pussyfoot is a non-alcoholic cocktail. i'm intrigued. just what is a pussyfoot?! does anyone out there happen to know? if so, do tell!
