city buses, school bus, love bus
whoa! i'm not quite sure what just happened. i guess it was a technical glitch. anyway, i'm trying to do this entry again.
i've mentioned my near-miss with a bus last year before. [sorry to disappoint you amishboy: although it was while i was running and crossing wallingford, it was nowhere near the erotic bakery. i was up near NE 85th]. ;) in 1990, i also had a near-miss with another bus in boston. i was out running near harvard when it happened.
but today was unbelievable. while i was out running this afternoon, i almost got hit by a frickin' school bus... a school bus full of kids, no less! to the driver of that bus: what part of "NO TURN ON RED" do you not understand?????? maybe you need to go back to school..

i'm not quite sure what it is with me and buses. having said that, i'll leave with some emeraldtiger trivia:
i once liked/dated a bus driver. kind of. for a very short while. long, long ago. yes, a bus driver. the thing is, he wasn't a lifelong, professional career bus driver. rather, he was just a college student trying to earn pocket money.
i think it was pretty silly back then... i guess it's kind of funny looking back on it now so i can laugh about it.
but that's all i'll say here. at least for now. . . and that's because i have a million things to do before watching the bachelor tonight. of course.
