powerball

no, readers, i'm not the $315M powerball winner. howerver, i watched cnn's breaking news coverage of the winner in w. va. yesterday afternoon. he's one lucky guy. it was fun, though, driving into dc and taking my chances, playing against the odds and buying a few powerball tickets. honestly, i'm not a gambler. but like a lot of people i just play when it gets extraordinarily huge. after all, someone's gotta win and i have no more or less of a chance than the next person. i don't live in a powerball state but my state does participate in mega millions.

had a great christmas and will update more later when i have more time. i will say that it was magical that we had a white christmas. even if it was only a dusting of snow. it made me as happy and excited about christmas as i remember being as a little girl.
