i forgot: USPS screw-up

i forgot to write earlier that i got a postcard from my best friend in atlanta today, which adds to my collection (yes, i collect postcards). unfortunately for me though, the USPS screwed up and it's torn down the middle. the postcard was delivered enclosed in a plastic bag with a "complimentary" stamp that they hope i will accept as compensation for my damaged mail.

the scary thing: this isn't the first time it has happened to me.

(and they say lightning never strikes twice?). yeah right!
